December 25, 2013 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm| $10 suggested donation
For more than 41 years, Union Station Homeless Services has hosted Holiday Dinners-in-the-Park on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
This wonderful community event provides thousands of holiday meals and hope for all who attend, including homeless men, women, children, seniors, very low-income families, and those with no place to go during the holidays. The impact of this event in the community is huge!
- Volunteer registration is now closed. The general volunteer application opens up on Jan. 1st and will be available online.
- You can help two nonprofits at once! Purchase a pie through the Village Cookie Shoppe and you will also be providing valuable work experience to individuals living with mental illness!
- PLEASE NOTE: Due to Health Department regulations, we are no longer able to accept turkey, ham or prepared food donations. Store bought pies are welcome before Christmas and can be delivered to the 412 S. Raymond. Thank you for your continued support. Please review our Christmas Wish List for more ways to give.
We kindly ask our volunteers to partner with Union Station by donating a modest $10 or whatever you can afford to help underwrite the cost of the event and support our mission.
