There are many benefits to partnering with our housing programs. One of the biggest benefit is knowing what a huge impact your support will make on your community. Getting people into housing is the most effective solution to our city’s homeless crisis.

Decrease Vacancy Rates

Because we have a large pool of potential tenants available, we can fill your vacancies swiftly. Additionally, there is low turnover with our potential tenants.

Owners receive 24-hour support services. Each of our tenants is assigned a case manager who is available should problems arise. The case manager is a neutral third party to resolve problems quickly. Case management support is permanent and ongoing.

By working with our agency owners have access to pool of ready to rent tenants. Vacant units will be matched with one of our clients.

EXPLORE HOUSING PROGRAMS

Landlords can be involved in one of our seven housing programs. Each program offers its own incentive.

Family Solutions Rapid Housing

provides temporary rental support to families experiencing homelessness in locating and retaining housing and increasing income where able. The subsidy and inspections are handled by USHS and our funding comes from Pasadena or LAHSA.

Holly Street Housing

provides Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) support administered by USHS, while providing wrap-around case management throughout the placement process in order to promote housing stability and improved quality of life. The subsidy and inspections are handled by USHS and our funding comes from Pasadena.

Housing for health

Union Station partners with the Department of Health Services (DHS) to provide onsite specialized care services to chronically homeless people living in scattered site housing with various subsidies issued by LACDA, HACLA, City of Pasadena, and Brilliant Corners. The initial and monthly funding and inspections are handled in partnership with the various Housing Authorities or Brilliant Corners staff.

MOVE Pasadena (Pasadena Housing Choice Vouchers)

MOVE vouchers are a type of rental assistance voucher that serves non-elderly households that include at least one adult with a disability who is at least 18 and younger than 62, including single-person households.

Pasadena & LAHSA Rapid Rehousing & recovery rehousing

provides temporary rental support with funding issued by our agency to individuals experiencing homelessness in locating and retaining housing and increasing income where able. The subsidy and inspections are handled by USHS and our funding comes from Pasadena or LAHSA.

Time Limited subsidies 

The COVID-19 Recovery Plan is a comprehensive plan to ensure that 15,000 of the most vulnerable people experiencing homelessness in our community find the safety of home with housing through a rapid re-housing model.

● On-going case management for up to two years

USHS LACDA Continuum of Care Scattered Site

is contracted with LACDA to provide CoC (Shelter Plus Care) subsidies and DHS funded intensive case management services. The initial and monthly funding and inspections are handled in partnership with LACDA.
