Over forty years ago, a group of compassionate community members wanted to make a difference. Together, they founded Union Station Homeless Services. Today, volunteers continue to be essential to our life-saving work.
Whether you volunteer in our kitchens to prepare meals for our clients; at our facilities to provide a workshop, story time, or craft event; or in our offices to help with administrative work, you will be a valuable member of our family when you volunteer at Union Station Homeless Services.
Volunteer opportunities are varied, and we do our best to match volunteers with a position that suits their interests and skills.
If you haven’t volunteered with Union Station before, please click the button above and complete the volunteer application for an individual or for a group. Once received, we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to sign-up for the next one-hour volunteer orientation. (Orientations are usually scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 5:30-6:30 pm).
“Every time I serve dinner at the Adult Center, I relearn how much fun it is to work with my board colleagues, and how rewarding it is to meet and serve our clients.” – Vickie Taylor, Board Member & Union Station volunteer
